23 New Recruits Join Germany's Customs Service in Schweinfurt
The Main Customs Office Schweinfurt has welcomed 23 new recruits, joining the ranks of over 1,700 young people who began their training in Germany's customs service this year. The recruits will embark on a journey towards various roles, including casework, special units, financial control, and customs investigation, all while contributing to fair tax collection, consumer protection, and job security.
The new recruits will have the opportunity to pursue dual studies lasting three years, culminating in a 'Bachelor of Laws' degree. Six of these recruits have chosen this path in the higher service. Meanwhile, 17 recruits are undergoing a two-year training programme in the middle service, qualifying them for the title 'Finance Officer'.
The customs service ensures the fair collection of tax revenues, consumer protection, and job security in Germany. It continues to offer training and study places for a secure future, with applications for an appointment starting September 1, 2026, currently accepted until October 15, 2025.
After completing their training, young customs officers can be assigned to various tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of Germany's customs service. The Main Customs Office Schweinfurt, along with other offices nationwide, remains committed to providing training and opportunities for a secure future in the service of the country.
