28th German Studies Conference to Explore 'Dialogue' in September 2025
The 28th German Studies Conference, themed 'Dialogue', is set to take place from September 14 to 17, 2025, at the Technical University of Braunschweig. Over 600 participants are expected to attend and engage in discussions on various forms and aspects of dialogue in German studies and teacher training.
The conference, organized by Professor Jan Standke, spokesperson of the German Germanists' Association, will feature an opening lecture by Professor Sybille Kraemer on 'Do we have a dialogue with chatbots?'. More than 100 lectures and workshops, along with a publisher exhibition and a political talk on the future of German studies, are planned.
