Adcro Group Introduces New Upskilling Initiative at Choose France Summit
Our group, a leading provider of training and development solutions, has announced a new commitment to upskill and reskill 5 million people globally by 2030. This initiative, aimed at ensuring employability in a world undergoing significant transformation, is delivered through the group's ecosystem of global brands including Modis, LHH, and General Assembly.
The group's strategy for upskilling and reskilling focuses on preparing individuals for the future of work by identifying critical future skills, designing flexible and adaptable learning programs, emphasizing real-world application, supporting career progression, and measuring impact.
In France, over the past three years, the group has tripled its investments in training and development. In 2020, the company plans to invest 100 million euros to train 45,000 people. General Assembly, a subsidiary of the group, will lead the reskilling push, focusing on equipping individuals and teams with in-demand digital skills.
General Assembly, a leader in digital skills assessment and training, was acquired by the group in 2018. The company launched its first campus in France in November 2019. The temporary CDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée) is used as a lever to strengthen employability through training within the group, with temporary contract employees having on average 5.5 times more access to training than conventional temporary workers.
The objective of this initiative is to enable individuals, regardless of their profile, to adapt to new technologies through training in areas like code, data science, machine learning, etc. The group prioritizes the development of the temporary CDI and aims to recruit an additional 15,000 people through this contract in 2020.
Alain Dehaze, CEO of the group, emphasized the impact of new technologies on the job market and the need for upskilling and reskilling. This commitment was reaffirmed at the Choose France Summit. The group's training and development is delivered through its ecosystem of global brands, ensuring a comprehensive approach to upskilling and reskilling on a global scale.
