Almaty Students Head to Germany for Intensive Summer Language Camp
Students from Gymnasium No. 18 in Almaty are set to embark on an annual summer language camp in Germany, organised by the Goethe Institute, to learn the German language. The camp, which has been running for over 25 years in collaboration with CHANCE - Education, Youth and Sport gGmbH, promises an intensive and immersive learning experience.
The language camp offers intensive German language courses led by native-speaking teachers with extensive experience in 'German as a Foreign Language'. The lessons are taught in a playful way to make learning easier and more comfortable for children. In addition to the language lessons, the camp includes a daily varied leisure and cultural program with numerous excursions to reinforce learning. This year, students will travel to Germany to explore cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Potsdam, and Dresden, providing ample opportunities to apply their language skills. Furthermore, students will spend a week in Austria as part of the language camp.
The summer language camp provides an enriching experience for students, combining intensive language learning with cultural immersion. By the end of the camp, students are expected to have improved their German language skills and gained unforgettable memories from their travels in Germany and Austria.
