Krasnodar, a bustling city in southern Russia, has announced a new initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of specialists in its educational institutions. The city council has approved a targeted enrollment program for future teachers, which will begin from the new academic year.

The program is designed to produce teachers for Krasnodar's schools and kindergartens, and it is open to residents of all regions of the country. To be eligible, applicants must meet certain criteria, which include Russian citizenship, residency in Krasnodar or the surrounding region, and a commitment to work as a teacher in public schools in Krasnodar for a certain period after graduation.

Successful applicants will benefit from financial incentives, as the city will allocate 9.7 million rubles to cover the tuition fees of students joining the program. Moreover, the program will provide funding to educational institutions where students will study for pedagogical specialties.

Graduates of the program must work for at least three years in educational institutions in Krasnodar's regional center. This requirement is in line with the program's aim to fill Krasnodar's educational institutions with specialists.

In addition to the enrollment program, Krasnodar has also increased the monthly mortgage compensation for teachers to 25,000 rubles as of June. This move is part of ongoing support measures for teachers in Krasnodar.

Mayor Yevgeny Naumov commented that the program will help former schoolchildren obtain an education and return to their hometown to contribute to the development of Krasnodar's educational system.

To apply for the program, interested individuals are advised to submit their applications through the "Work in Russia" portal. For precise and detailed information — including eligibility criteria, how to apply, and obligations for graduates — it would be necessary to consult official Krasnodar regional education department websites or specific Krasnodar universities' admissions offices.

The program is expected to be a significant step towards improving the quality of education in Krasnodar and ensuring that the city's schools and kindergartens are staffed with well-qualified and dedicated teachers.

  1. The targeted enrollment program for future teachers in Krasnodar, which is aimed at addressing the shortage of specialists in its educational institutions, also focuses on the aspects of education-and-self-development and learning, as it provides funding for students to study for pedagogical specialties.
  2. With the newly increased monthly mortgage compensation for teachers to 25,000 rubles, Krasnodar not only encourages current teachers to continue their work but also creates an incentive for those interested in education-and-self-development and learning to become teachers and contribute to the improvement of the quality of education in Krasnodar.
