New Director Appointed at St. Vitus Kindergarten in Rheda-Wiedenbrück
After a competitive application process, Luisa Drisner has been appointed as the new director of the St. Vitus Kindergarten in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. The change in leadership took place recently, with the Catholic-Kitas-Minden-Ravensberg-Lippe GmbH managing the kindergarten overseeing the transition.
Luisa Drisner, who is 27 years old, has been a specialist at St. Vitus Kindergarten for several years and has served as deputy director for the past two years. After her training at the very same kindergarten, she went on to study social pedagogy and social management.
In her acceptance speech, Luisa Drisner expressed her hope to pass on the baton in the best possible way in 40 years, drawing parallels between her role and a long-distance run, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. Her personal goal is to bring harmony and calm into the daily routine at St. Vitus Kindergarten.
Detlef Müller, the former director, expressed his support for Luisa Drisner as a leader. Müller, who is also the managing director of the Catholic-Kitas-Minden-Ravensberg-Lippe GmbH, has relinquished his position as director of St. Vitus.
The kindergarten, which was built in 1990 and extensively renovated and expanded two years ago, currently cares for 57 children in three groups. Parents present at the ceremony expressed their happiness about Luisa Drisner taking on the director role.
