A total of £34.7 million (≈ $44.5 million) has been awarded to support parish revitalization, children and youth work, and mission expansion. This includes a substantial grant of £11 million (≈ $14 million) for the Rochester Diocese.

The funding comes from the Church of England's Strategic Mission and Ministry Investment Board. It aims to promote diversity in congregations and leadership, and serve low-income communities. The grants will support the creation of new worshipping communities, leader training, and community outreach projects.

Carlisle Diocese has received £6.8 million (≈ $8.7 million) to establish new congregations and train leaders. St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocese will use their £2.7 million (≈ $3.4 million) grant to expand rural mission. Meanwhile, the Diocese of Chelmsford has been awarded £6.45 million (≈ $8.3 million) for the 'Believing in Barking' program in east London.

The Diocese of Sheffield has been granted £14.3 million (≈ $18.3 million) over three years to focus on children, young people, and families mission work. Additionally, St. Clement's Church in Boscombe, Winchester, has received £412,333 (≈ $526,000) for children, youth, and family mission.

These grants are part of the Church of England's wider strategy to revitalize church presence and mission across the United Kingdom. They aim to create more diverse and inclusive congregations, serve low-income communities, and expand mission work in both urban and rural areas.
