"Committed to Volunteer Efforts - Wuppertal Stands Strong"
The Municipal Integration Center in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, is set to host a volunteer training program, funded by the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration of the state. The initiative aims to further strengthen associations, promote cohesion, and enhance interaction locally.
Arlin Cakal-Rasch, Director of the Municipal Integration Center, emphasizes the importance of the training program in integration work and its role in fostering a sense of community. Dr. Ziemons, the head of the Integration Center of the City of Wuppertal, is also involved in the organization of the training program.
The training sessions, running from September 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, are specifically designed to support associations and professionalize local volunteering. The program offers courses in democracy education, media literacy, communication, digitalization, talent promotion, and association organization.
Interested individuals who bear responsibility in associations or are actively involved in volunteering are encouraged to participate. The training sessions will be conducted by experienced trainers at the association's premises, and are free of charge for the associations.
The registration period for the training sessions is from now until the end of October. Further information about the training program can be found at integration.wuppertal.de. For queries, interested individuals can contact Burcu Temel, Volunteer Coordinator at the Municipal Integration Center Wuppertal, or via email at [email protected].

The program is intended to contribute to a more cohesive and integrated community in Wuppertal.
