In the heart of the Avtovaz District, an area synonymous with the well-known Russian automobile manufacturer, a competition is fostering leadership and community engagement among the youth. The "Young Leaders of Avtovaz District" competition, a noteworthy initiative, is designed to unlock the potential of socially active youth and implement their projects across the city of Nizhny Novgorod.

The competition, which emerged victorious in the city's youth project grant competition, "Young Nizhny," was organized by Alena Ryzhova, deputy chair of the youth council under the district administration. Over 100 applications were submitted by youth aged 14 to 35, showcasing the energy and drive for change exhibited by the Automotive District's youth.

Among the many applicants, the winner was Rusan Guseynov, a physical education teacher from School No. 137. The competition did not seem to have a specific requirement for depicting winners on a portrait, unlike earlier mentioned competitions. However, the Guseynovs, with two children, will be depicted together on a portrait as a symbol of a strong family, and their photographs will be placed on the Avenue of Youth along the Youth Prospect on Avtovaz. The young couple are members of the City Council of Young Families.

The competition recognised specialists from various fields, including teachers, kindergarten educators, students, athletes, doctors, librarians, firefighters, engineers, and MCHS rescuers. The district administration noted that the Guseynovs actively participate in the life of the district and instill a love for sports and a healthy lifestyle.

The "Young Leaders of Avtovaz District" competition is noteworthy for its focus on the physical development of the younger generation, as noted by winner Rusan Guseynov. For instance, teacher Maria Suslova from School No. 15 chose D.K. 'GAZ' as a significant place for her video because of the many young people who meet and communicate there.

The city's youth project competition, "Young Nizhny," is supported by Mayor Yuri Shalabayev, and Deputy Head of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod, Leonid Streltsev, congratulated the winners. Leonid Streltsev addressed the Avtovaz residents, expressing pride in their achievements and encouraging them to love their city, value the people around them, and create its new history.

The Automotive District youth are actively involved in social projects and play a crucial role in the city and district's development, according to Alena Ryzhova, the author of the competition. The "Young Leaders of Avtovaz District" competition is an initiative likely connected to fostering leadership qualities and community engagement among the youth within the Avtovaz District.

While detailed public information about this specific competition is limited, it is expected that funding for such initiatives comes from a mix of sources, including corporate sponsorship from Avtovaz itself or related corporate entities, local government grants, partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, or other businesses, and participant fees less commonly. For more accurate information about this specific competition, contacting Avtovaz’s corporate communications department or the local administrative offices of the Avtovaz District might provide the most accurate answers.

In conclusion, the "Young Leaders of Avtovaz District" competition is a significant step towards nurturing the next generation of leaders in the Avtovaz District. It encourages young individuals to develop their leadership skills, engage in community projects, and propose innovative ideas, thereby contributing to the local development and innovation.
