Distance learning sessions are ongoing at the F.I. Avdeeva Palace of Children's Creativity

In response to the enhanced readiness mode implemented in Yakutsk, the Palace of Children's Creativity has transitioned to remote learning, with over 1,500 students participating. This shift reflects a broader trend in educational institutions adapting to public health measures by leveraging digital platforms to maintain learning continuity.

The Department, responsible for overseeing the transition, has been instrumental in the preparatory work, analysing programs and learning platforms, organising training seminars for teachers, and providing recommendations for implementing additional educational programs remotely.

To facilitate online classes and communication between teachers and students, the Zoom platform has been primarily used. However, creative groups have also chosen platforms like "Zoom", TRELLO, and "Discord" for their remote learning needs. Some teachers have even opened YouTube channels and Instagram pages for their circles.

The Department has also been active in organising and coordinating remote learning activities at the Palace of Children's Creativity named after F.I. Avdeyeva. To ensure a smooth transition, 89 additional education teachers were recruited to work with 83 additional educational programs.

The educational programs offered at the Palace cover various fields such as 17 in the technical field, 35 in the arts, 20 in social and pedagogical, 2 in sports and fitness, 1 in tourism and local lore, and 8 in natural science. The Department has also been part of the process of transitioning all planned competitions to remote and offline formats during the quarantine.

The director of the Palace, Maria Petrova, has stated that methodologists have developed instructions for organising remote learning, and a psychologist has provided recommendations to parents of children temporarily studying remotely. A hotline operates from 9:00 to 18:00 at number 707-041, and the latest information can be found on the official website and teachers' accounts.

During the quarantine, remote engineering courses and free legal consultations have been held, demonstrating the Palace's commitment to providing comprehensive support to its students. The Department has played a role in the provision of resources for remote learning, ensuring that the transition to digital education is as seamless as possible.

The Department's role extends beyond just overseeing the transition to remote learning; they analyze various learning platforms and organize training seminars for teachers to implement additional digital education programs, such as online-education and education-and-self-development. Teachers in creative groups utilize platforms like Zoom, TRELLO, and Discord for remote learning, with some even opening YouTube channels and Instagram pages for increased accessibility.
