Embarking Once Again on the 2021-2022 Educational Journey!
================================================================================================================
Princeton University has welcomed two new correspondents to its engineering and natural sciences team: Agnes Robang '23 and Sandeep Mangat '24. Both students are making significant strides in their respective fields, with a diverse range of academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.
Agnes Robang, a junior from the United States, is concentrating in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In addition to her academic commitments, Agnes is a coxswain for the Women's Lightweight Crew team and a Davis International Center Leader at Princeton University. She is also a McGraw Learning Center tutor, helping her fellow students navigate the challenges of higher education.
In her free time, Agnes enjoys diving into sports, crafts like knitting and crocheting, and reading books. Her academic interests extend beyond engineering, as she is enrolled in certificate programs for Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Applied and Computational Mathematics, and Contemporary European Politics and Society. Agnes is also the Engineering Correspondent at the university blog.
Sandeep Mangat, a sophomore from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is pursuing an A.B. degree with a concentration in Molecular Biology. His research interests lie in neuroscience, bioenergetics, metabolism, and mitochondrial genetics. However, outside of academics, Sandeep enjoys talking about the news with friends and watching movies.
Sandeep is also a Natural Sciences Correspondent at the university blog. Despite not being involved in any sports teams or leadership roles outside of academics, Sandeep's academic achievements are impressive. He is enrolled in certificate programs for Neuroscience and Contemporary European Politics and Society, and he is also pursuing a certificate for Applied and Computational Mathematics.
While detailed and current information about their research interests and backgrounds is not readily available, it is typical for students in their positions to have undergraduate or graduate backgrounds in relevant STEM fields, with research interests aligned with engineering disciplines, physical or life sciences, or interdisciplinary areas combining these. For more specific information, it is recommended to check Princeton University's official departmental webpages, the correspondents' personal or professional profiles, or contact Princeton University's news or communications office directly.
Agnes Robang not only focuses on her engineering studies but also contributes to the education and self-development of her fellow students as a McGraw Learning Center tutor, helping them navigate the challenges of higher education. Sandeep Mangat's academic achievements are impressive, and he extends his learning beyond molecular biology by enrolling in certificate programs for neuroscience, contemporary European politics and society, and applied and computational mathematics.
