Empowering immigrant women through vocational training and employment opportunities
Every month, migrant women in Münster, Germany, have the opportunity to seek employment and vocational training advice at the "Next Step - Next Level" event. This event, scheduled until the end of the year, takes place at Stadthaus 2, Ludgeriplatz 4, 11th floor, room 2/1.
The event, aimed at migrant women who have recently moved to Münster or have been living there for a longer period, is a collaborative effort between the Municipal Service Center for Work of the Jobcenter, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts, and the Chamber of Agriculture.
Beata Kanngießer, a migration officer employed by the Berlin Chamber of Crafts, is the point of contact for event registrations. Interested participants can register by sending an email to Kanngiesser@stadt-unser website. Each session is held on a Monday from 9 to 12 am, and the venue remains the same for all four sessions.
The dates for the upcoming sessions are as follows: September 22, October 20, November 17, and December 8. At the event, attendees can receive information about opportunities for apprenticeships or jobs, as well as advice and support on vocational training and employment from the participating organisations.
Additionally, the Municipal Service Center for Work of the Jobcenter will be on site to answer questions about funding opportunities. This makes it an ideal event for those seeking guidance on both the practical and financial aspects of finding employment.
Whether you're a recent arrival or a long-time resident, the "Next Step - Next Level" event offers a valuable resource for migrant women in Münster looking to advance their careers. So, mark your calendars and register today to take the next step in your professional journey!
