Founded by twin sisters Piera and Ofe when they were just 14 years old, the website took a three-year hiatus to focus on their schooling but has since returned with renewed vigour.
The platform boasts a news section where individuals can be highlighted for their achievements and promotions, fostering a sense of community and shared success. Fearless Identities also aspires to extend its reach by speaking at schools and using the platform as a form of advocacy.
The twins' inspiration for relaunching Fearless Identities stemmed from Avril's encounter with a fellow Black female coder. This encounter served as a catalyst, reinforcing their commitment to creating a space where young Black girls could feel seen, supported, and empowered to pursue careers in coding and technology.
