Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck Named 'Healthy School' in Wittekindskreis
The 'Healthy Schools in the Wittekindskreis' program has awarded Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck as a 'Healthy School'. This initiative, supported by the Kreis-Gesundheitsamt, promotes health and well-being in schools across the region.
The program offers free resources for students and staff, including individual and group activities. Renata Lleshi, an employee of the Kreis-Gesundheitsamt, emphasizes the importance of health for learning and personal development. She, along with sports scientist Pascal Kramer, presented the award to the winning school.
Ev. Grundschule Loehne-Obernbeck implemented at least three health-promoting measures and one measure for staff health during the project period. Other schools, such as Elisabeth-von-der-Pfalz-Berufskolleg in Herford, Grundschule in Westerenger, and Erich-Kaestner-Gesamtschule in Buende and Kirchlengern, have also been recognized for their efforts in promoting health and well-being.
The 'Healthy Schools in the Wittekindskreis' program continues to support schools in implementing health promotion and prevention activities. Interested schools can contact Renata Lleshi (r.lleshi@unser-website) or the business office of the Gesundheitskonferenz for more information.
