**Long Night of Sciences in Halle 2025 Set to Delight Visitors**

Get ready for an enlightening evening as the Long Night of Sciences in Halle 2025 is set to take place on July 4, 2025, from 5 PM to midnight. This free event, open to all ages, promises a wide variety of scientific topics and activities across multiple fields such as environment & nature, society, digital technology, health & medicine, entertainment, and culture.

**Event Details**

The Long Night of Sciences will take place in Halle (Saale), Germany, with free admission for all visitors. The event will feature over 377 planned events, 28 main highlights, and approximately 99 participating institutions. More than 315 speakers will share their knowledge and passion for science, making it an unmissable event for science enthusiasts and curious minds alike.

**Program Highlights**

The diverse activities are spread across various venues in the city, including university buildings and research centers, offering interactive and entertaining science experiences. Some examples of activities and locations include creative workshops for children, language games and social talking sessions, individual voice coaching, and demonstrations and experiments in mathematics.

**Travel and Shuttle Services**

To make it easier for guests to reach various event locations, the LNDW Express bus line will operate every 20 minutes during the Long Night of Sciences event. The FAIRTIQ app allows free travel by bus or tram for Long Night of Sciences guests from 4 PM to 2 AM. **Stage Program**

The stage program on the university square will include live music from the university big band, sporting and dancing performances from the university sports center, and a science slam. A physics show titled "The Physics of James Bond - shaken, not stirred" by Prof. Dr. Detlef Reichert will take place at 7 PM.

**Additional Attractions**

Guided tours through the Meckelsche Collections at the Institute of Anatomy (Große Steinstraße 52) will take place at 5, 6, 7, and 8 PM (free tickets can be picked up at the tourist information center in the Marktschloss on June 30 between 5 and 7 PM). The Great Experimental Lecture in Chemistry will take place at the Institute of Chemistry (Theodor-Lieser-Straße 9) at 6 PM (registration required).
