The COACHING4FUTURE Program, run by Baden-Württemberg Foundation gGmbH, is bringing the DISCOVER INDUSTRY experience learning truck to the schoolyard of the Willi-Burth School in Bad Saulgau on September 25 and 26, 2025.
This double-decker truck is committed to fostering the next generation of skilled workers in MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Technology) professions. The event will offer registered school classes an interactive exhibition and workshops, providing practical insights into the diversity of MINT careers.
Workshops will delve deeper into selected topics, such as designing a tic-tac-toe game using a professional CAD application. Five workstations will demonstrate the digital product creation process, including using a 3D scanner, digital microscope, 3D printer, industrial robot, and VR headset. The interactive exhibition and workshops will also demonstrate how technologies like 3D scanning, robotics, and artificial intelligence are used in modern industry.
During the free exploration tour, visitors can try out high-tech applications like augmented reality and AI-supported data glasses. Editorial visits to DISCOVER INDUSTRY in Bad Saulgau are possible, with O-ton recordings and photo motifs opportunities. However, image rights of students should be considered when recording during the event. Baden-Württemberg Stiftung gGmbH owns the image credit.
Coaches Maria Karg (M.Sc. Technical Biology) and Marcel Michel (M.Sc. Evolutionary Biology and Ecology) will be available for questions and interviews, showcasing the digital product creation process and providing career planning tips for young people.
