Saturday, October 8, 2023, witnessed a remarkable event at the Old Barracks in Landshut, as the MINT cluster 'Future Workers' organised the 'All Talents MINTake'. The two-day extravaganza, following the MINT Day of the 'Zukunftskräfte' initiative, attracted around 450 visitors, including 200 students from local schools who participated in guided theme tours and workshops.

On Monday morning, student groups embarked on guided tours, exploring various exhibits that showcased the intersections of technology, mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering. The exhibits, totalling around 56, included 3D printers, robots, and even a MINT cinema featuring a stratospheric flight.

The highlight of the event was the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's 'InnoTruck', which was present throughout the weekend. On Saturday, it opened its doors for the public, and on Sunday, it welcomed tech-savvy students for workshops. The workshops offered hands-on experiences with cutting-edge technologies, such as organic photovoltaics, electromobility, and raster electron microscopy.

The 'InnoTruck' workshops were met with great enthusiasm, as students had the opportunity to engage in experiments and learn about these advanced topics in a fun and interactive way. For instance, one workshop demonstrated the transformation of money into 'real' gold or silver using chemistry, captivating the interest of many participants.

Moreover, visitors could also build their own vibro-bots and generate images with AI, providing a unique blend of traditional and modern technologies. Small robot balls, known as vibro-bots, were a popular attraction, with many visitors watching them roll on the floor with amazement.

The 'All Talents MINTake' aimed to inspire young minds to explore careers in MINT subjects, and judging by the enthusiastic response from the students, it certainly achieved its goal. The event was a testament to the power of hands-on learning and the excitement that comes from discovering the wonders of science and technology.

As the students left the Old Barracks, they carried with them a newfound appreciation for MINT subjects and the endless possibilities they offer. The 'All Talents MINTake' was more than just an event; it was a spark that ignited a passion for learning and innovation in the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technologists.
