Faithfulness and Treachery Unveiled
Prepare for an enchanting musical journey as the Young Philharmonic of KSHG, a renowned youth orchestra, gears up for its semester finale concert on 1st July 2025. This event promises a captivating blend of classical music and drama, with a theme that delves into the human condition – "Loyalty and Deception".
The orchestra, comprising students from various disciplines, will perform a mesmerizing repertoire that includes works by Nicolo Puccini, Beethoven, and Donizetti. The programme will feature the Preludio a Orchestra by Puccini, excerpts from Beethoven's opera "Fidelio", and excerpts from Donizetti's opera "L'elisir d'amore".
In a unique collaboration with the Music University of Münster, the orchestra has secured the accompaniment of talented soloists for this special concert. This partnership has allowed the Young Philharmonic to mount an opera project, which is a testament to their dedication and passion for classical music.
The "Alex-Online" event, taking place on 24th May 2025, offers both online and in-person participation at the "Alexianer Laundry Kitchen" at Clemens Hospital. This transition concert, titled "Inner Revolution", will see Pia Marei Hauser, a flutist, performing "Acoustic Scenes of Night and Darkness".
Another concert, titled "Dream of Spring", is scheduled to take place at an undisclosed location and date, where the Baroque Orchestra "amici musici" will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The Young Philharmonic of KSHG, known for their annual concert weekend at the start of July, will contribute to this grand celebration with their music.
