The Gameskraft Foundation, a social arm of a leading Indian company offering skill-based online games, has launched the second phase of its campaign, "Mere Kadmon Ke Peeche." This time, they are joined by the GoSports Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing Indian sporting excellence.

The collaborative campaign aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by para-athletes and to encourage greater participation and recognition of differently-abled athletes in sports. The initiative seeks to foster inclusivity in sports and provide para-athletes with the opportunities, resources, and visibility needed to excel.

The campaign film showcases 12 para-athletes across Para Athletics, Para Swimming, Para Taekwondo, Para Archery, and Para Badminton. It celebrates their determination, talent, and achievements, inviting the public to look beyond disabilities and appreciate the extraordinary efforts of these athletes.

Rishi Wadhera, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Gameskraft, stated that the campaign is a celebration of the achievements of para-athletes and their support team. Deepthi Bopaiah, CEO of GoSports Foundation, expressed appreciation for the campaign shedding light on the unsung heroes who play a critical role in the success of athletes.

The GoSports Foundation was founded in 2008 with a vision to bring structure, planning, and vision to the Indian Paralympic movement. Its programmes have supported over 24 Olympians, 35 Paralympians, and 16 Paralympic medallists. They currently support over 200 athletes who aspire to represent India on the global stage.

The Gameskraft Foundation's engagement with communities at a grassroots level is well-known. They have renewed their association with the GoSports Foundation for the 'Para Champions Programme,' continuing the partnership as an associate partner.

The shared vision of the two foundations is to empower para-athletes and create a more inclusive sporting landscape. Through this campaign, they aim to spread awareness about the achievements of para-athletes and the importance of robust support systems in sports.

Roy D'Silva, an avid cyclist and documentary buff, is one of the supporters of this initiative. He is a published author who covers various beats, including Bollywood, OTT, and now poker.

The campaign film can be viewed on Gameskraft's Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. The athletes supported under the GoSports Foundation's Para Champions Programme won five medals at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, a testament to the impact of the foundation's work.

This campaign is a significant step towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for para-athletes in India. It encourages everyone to appreciate the resilience and talent of para-athletes and to support them in their journey towards success.
