IDP & Flywire Launch US$150K 'Fly Higher Awards' for Students Studying Abroad
IDP Education and Flywire have teamed up to launch the Fly Higher Awards, a US$150,000 initiative supporting students studying abroad in the USA. The program runs from 1 May to 31 July 2025, offering fifty students US$3,000 each to fund their studies. Students can enter via the Flywire and IDP campaign page, with full eligibility details available there.
To qualify, students must use IDP's services and make two or more international payments via Flywire during the competition period. Payments can cover tuition, accommodation, health insurance, or banking fees with US Bank. Mina Fakhouri, Flywire's Senior Vice President, stated that the collaboration with IDP is about empowering students and removing financial barriers. Lucy Williams, Product Manager at IDP Education, added that the initiative aims to support students financially and recognize their trust in IDP.
Award recipients will be invited to share their personal stories about how the financial support shaped their overseas education journey in the USA. While specific details about representing Austria in international competitions are not mentioned, students must have been 'on the floor' for at least three years to participate.
The Fly Higher Awards program is now open for eligible students to enter. With fifty students set to receive US$3,000 each, this initiative aims to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys abroad in the USA.
