India's Largest Student Innovation Initiative, Vikasit Bharat Buildathon 2025, Launches with Rs 1 Crore Prize Pool
The Ministry of Education, Atal Innovation Mission, and NITI Aayog have joined forces to launch Vikasit Bharat Buildathon 2025, India's largest-ever student innovation initiative. The event, set to take place live on October 12, has received an overwhelming response from students across 2.5 lakh schools nationwide. The top teams stand to win from a Rs 1 crore prize pool.
The Buildathon aims to encourage creativity and problem-solving among students in Grades 6-12. ISRO astronaut and IAF test pilot, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, serves as the event's brand ambassador, urging students to participate and showcase their innovative solutions to real-life challenges. Schools can submit entries via photos and videos, with the deadline extended to October 11.
The top teams, including Team Innovators, Tech Pioneers, and Green Solutions, will be awarded at the event. Results will be announced in December. Registrations can be done at http://vbb.mic.gov.in.
