Integration of Audio-over-Internet Protocol (AVoIP) training between Lightware and NETGEAR occurs
In an exciting development, Lightware and NETGEAR have expanded their partnership, integrating their online training platforms to offer a more comprehensive AV-over-IP learning experience. This partnership aims to accelerate learning for installers and end-users working with both manufacturers' technologies. Lightware Academy courses, including topics like USB-C, room automation, and AVoIP, have been added to the NETGEAR Academy. Conversely, NETGEAR's AVoIP certification training is now accessible via Lightware's platform. Tibor Fejes, head of training at Lightware Academy, stated that the partnership will give customers the knowledge needed for sophisticated system building. He believes that this integration will create a training ecosystem tailored to the needs of real-world installations. The integration offers cross-access to AVoIP certification content and signal management courses. Lightware's UBEX Level 1-3 courses are now live on the NETGEAR Academy, while NETGEAR's Level 1 AV-over-IP Certification is available on Lightware Academy. Higher levels of NETGEAR's AV-over-IP Certification will be added to Lightware Academy in the near future. The partnership will also expand the reach of Lightware's training videos. A joint webinar, co-hosted by the two companies this autumn, will introduce the training integration to a wider audience. In addition, an upcoming NETGEAR + Lightware Day is being planned in Duesseldorf. This event will feature in-person workshops, guest speakers, and live product demonstrations. While the names of the guest speakers have not been publicly disclosed, this promises to be an exciting event for AV professionals and integrators working with combined Lightware-NETGEAR systems. Tibor Fejes believes that this training ecosystem, which combines NETGEAR's networking expertise with Lightware's signal management innovations, will mirror real-world installations, providing a valuable learning experience for all involved.
