**The 8th International Conference on Education Quality: Transforming Education and Public Institutions with AI**

Preparations are underway for the 8th International Conference on Education Quality, set to take place from April 22–24, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai. Organised by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai), this prestigious event will gather over 400 global experts to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and public institutions.

The conference theme, "AI Innovations: Future Foresight for Empowering Public Institutions and Enhancing Educational Quality," reflects the focus on how AI is revolutionising education and government services. The event is part of Dubai AI Week, a week-long celebration of AI and its potential to shape the future.

The conference will feature a variety of sessions, including research papers, workshops, and keynote speeches from industry leaders. Among the speakers are representatives from tech giants like Microsoft, Dell, and Google. Dr. Caroline A. Jones of the ICEQ Supreme Committee will also speak about the event.

One of the key highlights of the conference is the launch of the Unlimited Smart Travel service at Dubai International Airport's First and Business Class lounges. Powered by AI-driven facial recognition, this service aims to enhance identity verification, speed up processing, and streamline service steps. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the Director-General of GDRFA-Dubai, will oversee the launch.

Another significant development is the launch of an AI Innovation Lab at the conclusion of the conference. This lab is expected to foster collaboration among educators and experts worldwide, addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in educational settings.

The conference also emphasises the importance of interdisciplinary education to prepare students for emerging careers, such as those involving AI. It serves as a platform for institutional innovation and digital transformation in education and public services, reinforcing Dubai's growing status as a global smart innovation hub.

Three strategic cooperation agreements will be signed at the conference, further cementing its role as a platform for collaboration and innovation. The conference is still ongoing at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and will conclude at the Directorate's Al Jafiliya headquarters. This event provides a working model for tech integration into education and governance, shaping the future of public institutions and education quality.
