International Gathering Slated for Park University on November 19th
Join Park University for an exciting cultural celebration at the annual International Festival, taking place on Friday, November 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the University's Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the Parkville Campus.
This event, hosted by Park University's Office of International Student Services, promises a diverse and enriching experience, with information booths, performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows. The festival will showcase the vibrant cultures of various countries, including Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
Food enthusiasts will be delighted to know that an international buffet will be served during the festival, from 5 to 6 p.m. The buffet will feature foods from each continent, offering a mouth-watering opportunity to sample a variety of culinary delights.
For those attending the buffet, the cost is $10 per person. However, Park students on a meal plan can attend for free with their Park ID. Admission to the festival and the buffet is free and open to the public, making it an accessible and inclusive event for all.
