Investigation Workshop Held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Division of Federal Antimonopoly Service
In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka Krai, seventh-grade students from School No. 40 were given a behind-the-scenes look at the Kamchatka regional department of the Registry Office as part of the nationwide project "Ticket to the Future."
Organized under a federal initiative designed to aid teenagers with career guidance, the Open Door Day aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of the Registry Office's role in various life stages. According to Varvara Sapagina, a consultant from the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Registry Office, such tours offer insights into the profession and its multifaceted duties.
Throughout the day, the students were briefed on different types of records, the formation of archives, marriage conditions, and surname regulations. They also learned about the documents required for making name changes and witnessed the process of registering births and deaths, as well as the ceremony for weddings in the registration hall.
The students were given an overview of the Registry Office's history, daily operations, and services. The educational tour offered valuable insights into the career path of a Registry Office employee and allowed the students to ask questions about their roles and responsibilities.
