JKLU Launches 'My City, My Lab' Ideathon 2025 for Students
JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has launched registrations for the 'My City, My Lab' Ideathon 2025. This annual competition encourages students of class 10, 11, and 12 to address local issues while considering global perspectives, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. The deadline for registration is October 5, 2024, at 11:59 PM IST.
Teams of 3 to 5 members are required to submit a local problem they are addressing, its related Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), and their proposed solution at the time of registration. The competition offers cash prizes of Rs 1,00,000, Rs 75,000, and Rs 50,000 for the first, second, and third positions respectively. Last year's winners included Chinmaya International Residential School, Coimbatore; D.A.V. Model School, Durgapur; and Sparkling Mindz Global School, Bengaluru.
The JKLU Ideathon 2025 aims to inspire young innovators to tackle local problems with global significance. With the registration deadline approaching on October 5, students are encouraged to form teams and submit their ideas to make a difference in their communities.
