In a unique collaboration, the firms and organizations directly involved in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NIFT Patna and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) in Begusarai, Bihar, are NIFT Patna, the Ministry of Textiles, ABFRL, and the Jeevika self-help groups (SHGs) representing rural women. These self-help groups, known as Jeevika Didis, are trained by NIFT Patna and then employed at ABFRL’s textile manufacturing unit in Begusarai, thus linking skill development with formal employment in the textile industry.

This national conference is a testament to India's commitment to empowering women and ensuring their active participation in the country's technological advancement. It is a call to action for all stakeholders to work together to create a future where women are not just beneficiaries but active contributors to India's digital transformation.
