LBCC Launches Senior Studies Program: In-Person & Virtual Classes, Day Tours
Long Beach City College's Lifetime Learning Center has launched its Senior Studies Program, offering a mix of in-person and virtual classes. Registration is now open, with a variety of courses and day tours available for all adults.
The program features both in-person and Zoom classes. In-person options include 'Landmark Broadway Musicals', 'Hollywood Classic Film Series', and practical courses like 'Computer Basics, Microsoft Windows' and 'Tech Talk'. For those interested in fitness, 'Strength Training' is also on offer.
Day tours on luxury buses are a highlight, with excursions like 'The Almansor Court, Hit Parade', 'Flames to Fame', and 'East Meets West' providing cultural and historical experiences.
Robert Miller leads the Zoom course 'Democracy in Action, The People Speak'. Registration can be done online or by contacting Theresa Brunella at 562-938-3047. Parking is $5 per semester, or free with a handicap placard.
