Lenovo, in collaboration with Jabra, has launched the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2, a device designed to revolutionise hybrid collaboration by combining advanced compute power, greater flexibility, and industry-leading video experience.
At its heart, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, enhancing video, audio, and AI performance. The device is engineered for handling AI workloads with faster AI processing, making it an ideal solution for businesses seeking to streamline their hybrid collaboration efforts.
The Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 caters to the needs of businesses operating in limited space areas. It comes equipped with a detachable cable management tray, which allows for the placement of compute devices in even the most space-constrained environments. Additionally, the device now includes a more functional cable cover for behind-the-display installations, ensuring a clean and tidy setup. For easy cable management when mounting, the device also features a power adapter cage.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 boasts USB-C integration. This feature allows for screen sharing, laptop charging, and BYOD meetings, making it a versatile tool for modern businesses.
Two new touch controller options are now available with the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2. The Lenovo Thinksmart USB controller offers a traditional, direct connection, while the Lenovo IP controller is network-based. The network-based controller offers flexibility in installation, with the ability to be installed up to 100 meters from the compute device, providing businesses with greater installation options.
