Luenen Children's Fire Brigade Boosted by €1,000 Donation, Seeks Volunteers
The Luenen Children's Fire Brigade has received a generous boost with a €1,000 donation from the 'Strong Children - Strong Future' benefit event. The funds will support youth work, including teaching children about fire safety, team spirit, and responsibility. The city is now appealing for volunteer helpers to join the brigade due to high demand.
The Luenen Children's Fire Brigade is open to all children aged 6 to 12. It aims to teach them essential life skills and instil a sense of community. The recent donation will help expand these activities. Notably, no prior knowledge of the fire service is required to join or volunteer.
The city is actively seeking volunteers to support the brigade. Those interested can make initial contact via email at kinderfeuerwehr@feuerwehr-unser website. The only requirement is a willingness to work with children on a voluntary basis. Unfortunately, without additional volunteers, the brigade cannot accept new members, disappointing many interested children.
The Luenen Children's Fire Brigade, with its recent €1,000 donation, is well-positioned to continue its vital work with youngsters. However, to meet the high demand and ensure no child is left out, the city urges potential volunteers to step forward and lend a helping hand.
