Kids have a knack for challenging their clothing, but that's no reason to toss them aside. With a few stiches and a dash of creativity, you can easily save those damaged pieces.
Join us at the Wiesbaden Environmental Center, and on February 8, Katrin Hessler will walk you through the process, all while demonstrating on her sewing machine. You'll learn to fix defective clothes, plus a couple of cool tricks. Ever considered growing clothes with your kids? Katrin will show you how to size up those pieces for a longer run!
Embracing the Zero Waste Lifestyle
The workshop is part of the theme weeks focusing on Zero Waste: Reduce - Reuse - Recycle. Running until February 28, the Environmental Center will inspire you to save resources in your daily life. Besides the sewing demonstration, you can also exchange your well-preserved but no longer used clothes for new favorites.
