Midwifery students at HSB urgently require pregnant women for their upcoming examinations
The Bremen University of Applied Sciences (HSB) is seeking pregnant volunteers for a series of midwifery exams scheduled to take place in late August 2023. The exams, which simulate a consultation with pregnant women during a routine appointment, will occur on even-numbered weekdays in the last two weeks of August (20th, 22nd, 26th, 28th, 30th).
Each exam is approximately 70 minutes long and will involve midwifery students, a lecturer from the university, and a midwife from practice, in addition to the pregnant volunteers. The short notice for these exams is due to the withdrawal of some pregnant women at short notice due to health and organizational reasons.
Kristin Maria Kaüper, scientific employee in the midwifery course, can be contacted for registration and inquiries about the midwifery exams. Her contact details are Tel. +49 176 - 15140386 and email: [email protected].
Volunteers are requested to behave as they would during a routine appointment. It's important to note that the exams are part of the midwifery course at HSB, providing students with valuable, practical experience.
The university is also looking for volunteers whose estimated due date (EDD) is in September/October 2024. If you meet this criteria and are interested in participating, please contact Kristin Maria Kaüper as soon as possible.
For more information about the course, you can visit the "International Midwifery Course" section on the HSB's official website or faculty of health and nursing sciences. Your participation can help shape the future of midwifery education in Bremen.
