Newly-arrived students and apprentices are officially welcomed by the Mayor at the "Azubi Fit-Day" event.

In the heart of Germany, the city of Willich welcomed 31 new trainees, interns, and apprentices on Tuesday. Mayor Christian Pakusch personally greeted each newcomer with a handshake, warmly welcoming them to the city team.

The newcomers embarked on a comprehensive training program, though the specific professions for these individuals were not immediately clear. However, it seems that at least some may be engaged in technical and automotive-related fields, given the availability of certified courses in automotive glass and calibration offered by PMA/TOOLS GmbH, located near Düsseldorf.

The training program, known as "Introduction days," was meticulously prepared by training officer Rebecca Foitzik from the Central Services department. On Tuesday, the newcomers had a more administratively informative day at the Technical Town Hall, where they were introduced to various important committees and contact persons.

These committees included Mayor Dr. Raimund Berg, the Head of the Personnel Department, the Equal Opportunities Officer, the Personnel Council, the Youth and Trainee Representative, Komba, Verdi, and the Disability Representative.

The two-day program also included an "Apprentice Fit Day" that took place on Monday at the Mönchengladbach sports park. Unfortunately, the newcomers were not involved in physically challenging activities on Tuesday, unlike the previous day's event.

However, the Fit Day held on Monday was not limited to physical activities. It featured varied workshops with the latest fitness trends such as trampoline hall, padel, athletic training, and "Inbody." Additionally, information on healthy eating was provided during the Fit Day.

The program was financially supported by the Barmer health insurance fund. The newcomers received initial training and instruction on practical aspects such as time recording, organizational structure, system connections, email program, occupational health management, fire protection, and work safety.

Two inspector trainees and one trainee joined the program, who were "committed" by Pakusch with the obligatory certificate. The city is training across nine professions this year, including practice-integrated training for kindergarten educators, administrative management assistants, gardeners, carpenters, emergency medical technicians, construction draftspersons, and two in the "Voluntary Ecological Year (FOJ)" area.

For more targeted details about the professions or the training curriculum for these 31 individuals in Willich, direct local government or training institution announcements should be consulted.

The newcomers, willingly embracing the opportunity for personal growth and learning, participated in a two-day program focusing on education-and-self-development and initiated their journey towards personal growth. As part of the program, they attended workshops on the latest fitness trends,Received instruction on practical aspects such as time recording, organizational structure, and fire protection, and were introduced to various committees promoting equal opportunities and work safety.
