OHA Seeks Full-Time Program Associate for Waco, Texas
The Oral History Association (OHA) is seeking a full-time Program Associate for its Executive Office, based at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. The position, starting January 3, 2023, offers paid travel to annual and council meetings, and the association is committed to equal opportunity employment.
The successful candidate will work with the Executive Office, managing various tasks including event planning, membership roster upkeep, website maintenance, and basic bookkeeping. Strong project management skills, a customer-service mindset, and experience with online software like WordPress, QuickBooks, and event registration platforms are essential. Experience in event planning and basic financial management is preferred. Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent writing and editing skills.
