"Performing a four-ball act"
In the heart of Heidekreis, the community is abuzz with changes as two more classes have started using the community center in Wesseloh. Meanwhile, the gymnasium at the Hansahlen primary school in Schneverdingen has been closed since the Easter holidays, forcing affected sports clubs to adapt.
The sports clubs Turnverein Schneverdingen, Schützenverein Schneverdingen, and der SuS Schneverdingen are among those impacted by the rescheduling of their training times in autumn and winter. To help keep everyone informed, reporter Susanne Schmidt manages a weekly newsletter that provides a concise review of local news from Heidekreis.
This free newsletter, sent directly to subscribers' inboxes, offers a glimpse into the City of Schneverdingen and other happenings across the district. It is carefully selected and presented without information overload, making it an easy and approachable read for all.

In the meantime, the affected sports groups of clubs will need training times in the hall starting from the fall. To accommodate this, the city has agreed to fund additional bus transfers to enable sports lessons, and volunteer Rolf Weinreich has been coordinating the booking of halls for club sports for years.
To ensure continuity, sports lessons are being organized as double periods to avoid simultaneous sports lessons. In the interim, the Hansahlen primary school has been using outdoor sports on the schoolyard, nearby park, and break hall as an alternative. Classes that would normally have swimming lessons can switch to the swimming pool after the fall break without schedule adjustments.
Stay up-to-date with local highlights by subscribing to the Heidekreis newsletter. Whether it's the City of Schneverdingen, community events, or sports updates, this newsletter has you covered.
