Preserve Yakutia's Languages: Project Competition Now Open

Applications are now open for the 'Native Language - Heritage of the Nation' project competition, aiming to preserve, digitize, and develop the linguistic heritage of all ethnic groups in the Republic of Sakha (Yakha). Organisations focused on this mission can submit their proposals until November 1.

Projects will be judged in five categories: Multimedia, Environment for Native Language, Preserving Languages of Indigenous Small-numbered Peoples, Projects for Children and Youth, and Language Camp. To apply, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line including your organisation's name, the project title, and the category.

The competition seeks to discover and support the best ideas for preserving, digitizing, and developing the linguistic heritage of all ethnic groups in the multinational Republic of Sakha. Winners, to be announced by December 1, will receive funding for their projects.

Organisations have until November 1 to submit their applications for the 'Native Language - Heritage of the Nation' project competition. The competition aims to foster linguistic diversity and heritage preservation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakha).
