Quang Tri Set for Transformation with Wind Power Plant, Airport, and Urban Areas
Quang Tri, a central Vietnamese province, is poised for significant transformation with a series of ambitious projects. BAMBOO Capital, led by Dang Minh Truong, is spearheading the construction of the Quang Tri Win 3 wind power plant. The province's chairman, Tran Phong, sees these projects as a testament to local efforts to attract investment and boost development.
The province is not only embracing renewable energy but also expanding its urban infrastructure. In 2026, Quang Tri will commence work on a $232 million airport, further enhancing urban connectivity.
The three urban areas planned are strategically located near the sea, rivers, urban centers, and major transportation routes. The Dong Hoi Central Mixed-Use Urban Area, for instance, is designed as a sustainable eco-urban development with over 60 hectares of green spaces. Meanwhile, the Le Ky River Western Mixed-Use Urban Area will be a modern riverside city hub, and the Nhat Le Coastal Mixed-Use Urban Area will be a leisure and entertainment space inspired by Dubai's desert oases.
Dang Minh Truong, chairman of Sun Group, has grand plans for Quang Tri. He aims to transform the province into a premier destination recognized nationally and internationally through world-class resorts and entertainment complexes. This vision is supported by the nearly 200 projects registered in Quang Tri's industrial parks, set to boost urban economic growth.
Quang Tri, with its large space for development and strategic location, is ready to establish itself as an important connection point in economic corridors. Sun Group's debut in Quang Tri signals a new development cycle for the locality, with the wind power plant, airport, and urban areas set to reshape the province's landscape and urban economy.
