Roadside developments in Francs, marked by the "MS experiment" - impending halts

The "MS experimenta", Germany's largest interactive science centre on a ship, is set to visit Nuremberg from August 14-17, 2025. This unique floating science lab will be open daily from 10 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 5 pm, offering an engaging and enjoyable exploration of science and technology.

The "MS experimenta" tour, focusing on Franconia this year, will not only be making a stop in Nuremberg but will also visit Forchheim, Bamberg, Kitzingen, Würzburg, Gemünden am Main (Main-Spessart district), and other Franconian locations. The exact schedule for these additional stops is yet to be announced.

The "MS experimenta" is particularly aimed at families with children between the ages of four and twelve, offering an immersive learning experience. Visitors can actively participate and explore fascinating questions of everyday life through interactive stations, workshops, and crafting activities.

One of the highlights of the "MS experimenta" is a miniature version of the Science-Dome's 726 square meter dome, which offers exciting film adventures under a 360-degree dome. The workshop area encourages young researchers to tinker and experiment, teaching them how to handle a pipette and test tube, and determine the acidity of a liquid using red cabbage juice.

School classes have priority from 10 am to 12 pm on school days. Admission for the general public is just 2 euros per person. Advance registration for a two-hour time slot is required on the website [www.ms-experimenta.science].

Following its stop in Nuremberg, the "MS experimenta" will make a stop in Schweinfurt from August 5-9, 2025. The ship will visit ten locations in Franconia in total, with seven locations still to be announced.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on the "MS experimenta"'s itinerary, we recommend consulting the official announcements or an official itinerary when available.

During its tour through Franconia, the "MS experimenta," a massive interactive science center on a ship, will provide an immersive education-and-self-development experience focused on learning about science. The ship, which will be visiting Nuremberg from August 14-17, 2025, will offer workshops, interactive stations, crafting activities, a miniature Science-Dome, and more for visitors of all ages.
