SAF-HOLLAND to Attend Automechanika 2024 Event

At Automechanika 2024, SAF-HOLLAND is set to unveil its innovative aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicles, placing a strong emphasis on sustainability, digital transformation, and efficiency. The German-based company will exhibit its offerings in Hall 6.0, Stand B20.

One of the key highlights of SAF-HOLLAND's presentation is the refurbishment program for brake callipers. This program underscores the company's commitment to sustainable and cost-effective maintenance solutions by restoring OEM quality and performance for commercial vehicles. By overhauling used components and giving them a second life, this program saves resources and reduces CO2 emissions.

Another significant aspect of SAF-HOLLAND's showcase is the SH I.Q. portal for digital services. This platform centralises maintenance, repair, and parts management processes, enhancing service efficiency and providing better fleet management through online support. The portal includes an electronic spare parts catalog Parts on Demand (PoD) with a smart search function, benefiting workshops and fleet operators with significant time savings and optimised spare parts supply.

SAF-HOLLAND is also demonstrating the use of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to enable easy and accurate identification of spare parts. This innovation aims to reduce errors, improve traceability, and simplify the parts replacement process for commercial vehicle operators and service centres. The NFC technology integrated into SAF-HOLLAND's products minimises errors, reduces vehicle downtime, and makes it easier for spare parts traders, fleets, and workshops to identify parts.

Manuel Balles, Vice President Aftermarket Europe, Middle East, and Africa at SAF-HOLLAND, states that these initiatives set new standards in sustainable spare parts supply and contribute to resource conservation. He adds that the program aligns with the company’s broad aftermarket activities and digital advancements, as exemplified by their global spare parts supply and service networks.

Furthermore, SAF-HOLLAND will present its comprehensive range of spare parts under the SAUER QUALITY PARTS brand. In partnership with Haldex and the aftermarket second brand SAUER QUALITY PARTS, SAF-HOLLAND offers a wide range of high-quality and reliable spare parts for commercial vehicles. SAF-HOLLAND and Haldex will exhibit original parts and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicles at Automechanika 2024 in Hall 6.0, Stand B20.

Together, these solutions underscore SAF-HOLLAND's dedication to improving the aftermarket experience through technological innovation, sustainability, and digitalization in commercial vehicle component servicing and parts management. The exhibition at Automechanika 2024 will showcase the latest trends and technologies in the commercial vehicle industry, with a focus on sustainability, digital transformation, and efficiency.

  1. SAF-HOLLAND's commitment to business sustainability extends beyond vehicle solutions, as they also prioritize education-and-self-development, offering workshops and fleet operators time-saving strategies through the smart search function in their Parts on Demand (PoD) electronic spare parts catalog.
  2. In the realm of general-news, SAF-HOLLAND's innovative NFC technology applied to spare parts identification delivers sports-like precision, minimizing errors, reducing vehicle downtime, and enhancing efficiency in parts replacement processes for commercial vehicle operators and service centers.
  3. Paving the way for future finance and investment in the commercial vehicle industry, SAF-HOLLAND's expanded aftermarket offerings, including the SAUER QUALITY PARTS brand, are set to gain attention from both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket sector at Automechanika 2024.
