School doesn't inaugurate with a gymnasium.
The Elisabeth-Selbert-Gymnasium in Bernhausen is currently experiencing a change, as its gymnasium is out of commission due to ongoing renovation work. This development has prompted a shift in the usual routine for the school's 1050 students, who are now engaging in their sports activities outdoors, provided the weather permits.
Simultaneously, three unnamed companies are working diligently on the roof renovation of the sports hall at the school, as reported by the building authority. The specific identities of these companies remain undisclosed in the available information.
The school and various clubs have shown a commendable level of understanding in this situation. The TSV Bernhausen, a local club, has been kept informed and is collaborating with the city to arrange alternative facilities for their athletes.
Interestingly, other schools in the vicinity, affected by the construction of the Gotthard-Mueller Hall, have stepped up to accommodate the necessary bookings of sports clubs in their other sports halls. This collective response underscores the spirit of cooperation among educational institutions in Bernhausen.
Despite the inconvenience, some facilities within the Elisabeth-Selbert-Gymnasium remain operational. The gymnastics and strength room in the basement, as well as the changing rooms and showers, continue to serve their intended purposes.
As the renovation work progresses, the school and local community look forward to the improved facilities that will undoubtedly enhance the learning and sports experiences for all involved.
