School Surveillance Guide: Insights into PBR Recordings at Our Institution

Music School Offers Unique Opportunities for Aspiring Artists

The Music School, with campuses in London, LA, Ibiza, and online, offers a diverse range of degrees and short courses, catering to various interests. From vocal performance and radio to software engineering, songwriting, and more, students can find a programme that suits their passion.

The school's Recordings team, a specialist music institute in London with its own in-house record label, offers an exceptional opportunity for students to showcase and release their music. The team, which includes A&Rs, marketing specialists, and career advisors, is dedicated to developing students' music, networking, and collaborative skills.

The Recordings team plays a significant role in marketing responsibilities, building bespoke campaigns, managing funding budgets, designing release artwork, and more. Weekly meetings and communications are held with the team to ensure students are kept informed about their projects' progress.

For students interested in joining the Recordings, there are several ways to get involved. They can submit their demos to hello@our schoolrecordings.co.uk or book a 1-2-1 session with mentors Kwame Kwaten or John Fortis. The school also hosts an annual networking night, where students can connect, meet the Recordings team, and gain industry insights.

The mentoring and signing process is designed to provide a structured pathway for students to develop artistically and potentially secure a professional recording deal within the school's ecosystem. Students are encouraged to submit their demos through internal contests, designated online platforms, or live mentoring sessions for constructive critique and refinement before any formal signing consideration.

Upon acceptance or indication of strong potential, students can work with producers recommended by the mentors and, if their songs are approved, sign and release their music through the label. The school's mentors are carefully selected from its team of lecturers, who are industry experts and hold a TEF Gold rating.

Students studying at the Music School are part of the Recordings roster, alongside artists like Leah Haworth, who studies the Music Business Degree, and Sam The Zoologist, who studies Music Production & Sound Engineering. The school provides flexible start dates throughout the year for degree programs.

Whether you're a budding singer, producer, or software engineer, the Music School offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for music with a professional career. With its diverse range of degrees, short courses, and the Recordings team, you'll find the perfect path to success in the music industry.

Students can expand their music knowledge and career prospects beyond traditional music education by taking advantage of online learning opportunities at the Music School, such as the Music Business or Music Production & Sound Engineering degree programs.

Additionally, entertainment-seeking individuals can learn about various aspects of the music industry, including entertainment marketing and artist development, through the school's diverse array of short courses in online education.
