Students Experience Police Work Firsthand in 'Team 110 in Action!' Event

Students from Erich-Kästner-Gesamtschule Bochum recently took part in an immersive event at the Police Presidency in Bochum. The 'Team 110 in action!' role-playing game aimed to give students a hands-on experience of police work, fostering teamwork and decision-making skills.

The event was organized by personnel recruiter Nicole Schüttauf from PP Bochum, with support from Wenke Lohmann from the LAFP (State Office for Training, Further Education and Personnel Affairs of the Police NRW). Students took on various police functions in a realistic deployment simulation. These roles included patrol duty, criminal police, and operations management. The accompanying teacher, Heike Müller-Schaefer, praised the event for providing valuable and enriching experiences for the students.

The 'Team 110 in action!' event at the Police Presidency in Bochum offered students a unique opportunity to experience police work firsthand. The event was well-received by both students and their teacher, who appreciated the valuable insights and skills gained from the experience.
