Tech Orda 2025 application process initiated for IT education without cost
The Tech Orda 2025 educational program, a government-funded initiative by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry (MCRIAI), is aimed at training 20,000 new IT specialists by 2029 to meet the demands of the growing digital economy.
Launched in 2021 and coordinated through Astana Hub, the program offers free learning opportunities in in-demand IT professions for Kazakhstani citizens aged 18 to 45. The focus areas of the program extend beyond traditional coding, covering a broad spectrum of digital and IT careers such as AI engineering, data analytics, product management, cybersecurity, and design skills.
The program supports students from more than 20 cities, providing opportunities to reskill or upskill in high-demand technology fields, frequently at little or no cost to the learners. Interested applicants can access a showcase of IT schools and courses on the Astana Hub platform, or directly apply through participating private IT schools.
Each student in the Tech Orda program can receive up to 500,000 tenge in state support. The MCRIAI is currently accepting applications for the Tech Orda 2025 program, with the deadline set for September 3, 2025.
The program encompasses a wide range of courses, covering areas such as web development, 3D design, AR/VR applications, operating system development, cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, mobile app development, and GameDev. For more information, applicants can contact the selected school or call 1818.
In 2025, 80 IT schools were accredited, and the program continues to be run by the MCRIAI.
