University of Namibia recognizes top-performing students among newly enrolled students; nine students achieved a perfect score in their entrance examinations.
In a significant development, the National University of Mexico (UNAM) has reported an impressive improvement in scores on the admission exam for the 2021 academic year. This marks the highest recorded improvement in recent years, according to UNAM's official statement.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, UNAM ensured that there was no decrease in performance. The exam was conducted online for the first time between June 13 and 22, and the results showed a positive trend.
The breakdown of gender for the incoming UNAM students is not specified, but it is known that 52% of the applicants are women and 48% are men. The performance of applicants improved by 10% compared to previous years, with a historical difference in scores between men and women decreasing on this occasion.
Interestingly, 67% of the incoming UNAM students completed their previous studies in Mexico City, while 31% completed their studies in the State of Mexico. The analysis of the results showed a higher percentage of correct answers, mainly in areas such as biology and chemistry. Nine applicants achieved 100% correct answers in the exam, a higher number than in previous years.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, 35,636 students (both male and female) will be admitted to UNAM.
