University of Park declares the 2021 Homecoming Court Rulers
Park University's Homecoming Weekend 2021 was filled with excitement and celebration, culminating in the announcement of the homecoming royalty.
The selection process for the sophomore and freshman royalty was unique, as it was not determined by a vote from the student body. Instead, the university selected Isabela Ribeiro da Silva as the female sophomore royalty and Kaben Lentzner as the male freshman royalty. Ribeiro da Silva is a sophomore business administration/corporate financial management major from São Jose dos Campos, Brazil, while Lentzner is a freshman business administration/management major from Kaufman, Texas.
On the other hand, the homecoming king and queen were chosen by the student body. DiCarlo Jackson Jr., a senior biology major from Kansas City, Kan., was announced as king, while Bayan Salam, a senior criminal justice administration/law enforcement and psychology major from Kansas City, Mo., was crowned queen. Jackson Jr. attended Sumner Academy of Arts and Science, and Salam graduated from Oak Park High School.
The student body also selected Kai Yim, a junior nursing major from Smithville, Mo., as prince, and Demetria Byers, a junior criminal justice administration/law enforcement major from Kansas City, Mo., as princess. Yim attended Smithville High School, and Byers previously went to Southeast High School.
The students were formally announced as homecoming royalty during halftime of the men's soccer match against Mount Mercy University on Oct. 2.
Prior to this, Destiny Marshall, a freshman sports and exercise science/health promotion major from Kansas City, Mo., was selected as the female freshman royalty. Marshall, who attended Southeast High School, was not part of the homecoming royalty but was still recognised for her achievements during the Homecoming Weekend 2021 festivities.
It is worth noting that Marshall is not the only notable figure to have attended Park University. Kaben Lentzner, who was selected as the male freshman royalty, also attended Kaufman High School.
If you are interested in learning more about the homecoming royalty from previous years or other events, we recommend checking directly with Park University’s official website, alumni office, or their student activities department, as they typically keep records of such events.
Education and self-development were showcased during the selection process for the homecoming royalty at Park University. For instance, the university selected Isabela Ribeiro da Silva, a business administration major from Brazil, as the female sophomore royalty; meanwhile, Kaben Lentzner, a business administration major from Texas, was chosen as the male freshman royalty.
