Buck Mims, a seasoned public safety professional with over 30 years of experience, continues to serve as an active General Instructor and Active Shooter Instructor. Now, he leads National Public Safety Group (NPSG), a consulting firm that specialises in the Public Safety Software industry.
Mims began his public safety journey in 1988 at the Roanoke Rapids Police Department. In 1990, he joined the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
