Vocational training institutions in Saxony-Anhalt encouraged to join a 20-year program
The application process for the prestigious Berufswahl-SIEGEL Saxony-Anhalt has commenced for the 20th time and the 2025/2026 school year. This initiative, a collaboration between the economic and social partners of the state, aims to recognise schools that excel in career orientation.
Schools from secondary levels I and II in the districts of Harz, Börde, Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, and the state capital Magdeburg have been invited to participate in the initial certification. Since its introduction in the 2006/2007 school year, 73 schools have been awarded the Berufswahl-SIEGEL in Saxony-Anhalt. The certification process offers schools the opportunity to defend their Siegel in the re-certification process, a challenge faced by several schools.
