The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the competition for the annual State Youth Prize "Daryn". This prestigious award, established in 1992, recognises and supports talented young individuals under the age of 35 for their outstanding achievements in scientific, creative, public activities, and sports.

To be considered for the "Daryn" Prize, candidates must meet specific requirements and follow a structured process. Nominations typically require a nomination letter and a reference outlining the candidate's achievements. Copies of award diplomas, certificates, and letters of appreciation should also be included to support the nomination.

The "Daryn" award is presented in various categories, including Literature, Science, Design and Visual Arts, Journalism, Classical Music, Public Activity, Sports, Theater and Cinema, Pop Music, and Folk Art. Identifying the right category is essential for ensuring the nomination aligns with the candidate's achievements.

Nominations are submitted to a designated committee or ministry responsible for managing the award. Applications are reviewed based on the candidate's impact, innovation, and dedication to their field. A panel of judges or experts assesses the nominations to select the most deserving recipients.

Eligible candidates are those who have been laureates of international and republican competitions, festivals, and exhibitions, prize-winners and champions of sports events, and candidates whose activities are innovative and contribute to the development of their respective fields and society.

Applicants' documents are accepted from June 26 to August 27 (inclusive) at the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
